Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant role: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a keen eye for accuracy and a passion for numbers. You will support the accounts team in delivering high-quality financial services across the business.

Your responsibilities as our Accounts Assistant will include:

• Analyse revenue and costs at branch level to prepare departmental reports.


• Assist in the preparation of monthly office reports.


• Conduct data analysis to support internal cost controls.


• Process month-end journals, including expenses.


• Contribute to accounts projects and initiatives to enhance business efficiency.


• Additional ad-hoc duties as deemed by business needs.


• At all times remain professional and confidential.

Key qualifications and skills:

• Previous accounts experience is essential.


• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards it.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude


• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.


• Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
