Your new role In this role you will be responsible for the following: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer matters or concerns Work closely to build and maintain effective customer relationships Main point of contact and management of communications between the customer and internal teams. Generate and provide detailed reports as per customer requirements Review account performance for scorecard enhancement Monitor and maintain various customer portals Review and update customer orderbook Help with marketing plans, design marketing material and social media content Support senior account manager and commercial team as required Develop a thorough understanding of the customer products and markets to ensure all opportunities for growth are recognised Work closely with other internal departments to ensure overall quality of service This company is currently trialling a 4-day work week, with compressed hours of the following: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 17:30 Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 18:00 What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a customer facing role ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Excellent verbal communication skills, both face to face, telephone and be confident presenting to all levels within an organisation. Excellent written communication skills both via email and also for social networking sites Excellent organisational skills and able to effectively manage time with the ability to multitask. A good business acumen Capacity to work under pressure and ability to work to timelines. Educated to at least A Level or equivalent. Knowledge of Insight 123 or other MRP/ERP/CRM systems Must be adept in the use of Microsoft package, particularly excel, outlook and word What you'll get in return Flexible working options are available.
