6 month fixed term contract initially with view to permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a vibrant growing business based on the outskirts of Mansfield (due to location own transport is essential), they are rapidly expanding and need additional support for an initial 6-month period (after this time the role could become permanent).

The role requires someone with a strong background in all areas of Accounts Payable, ideally including experience with a high volume of invoices and queries, who can offer vital support to a wide program of changes within the department.

We're looking for someone with the following skills:-

• Experience of working with automated AP systems.


• Solid ledger management experience.


• Experience of purchase order systems.


• Matching, batching & coding invoices and proofs of delivery.


• Resolving supplier queries and GRNI issues.


• Statement reconciliations.


• Preparing payment runs and month end information.


• Confident at communicating across all departments and areas of the business.

The successful candidate will have:-

• Worked in a similar role and be confident working in a paperless environment.


• Strong team player and happy to help out in other areas of finance if required.

You will work within a small but highly motivated team who are all working towards greater efficiencies and use of automation across the function.
