I am recruiting for an immediate start Accounts Payable position for an organisation based in central Birmingham. The position is based in Birmingham and will be on a temporary basis for around 6 months.

Description

The Accounts Payable Assistant's duties will include but not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Handling account inquiries from internal and external sources
  • Making sure invoices, payments, and transactions are correctly recorded and entered into the database
  • Resolving account discrepancies and issues
  • Preparing and processing payments for vendor invoices and other financial transactions
  • Documenting and updating accounts payable procedures

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
