Michael Page are currently recruiting for a leading Bank who are based in central London, who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support them on an interim basis of up to 6 months. The role requires Financial Services experience along with three+ years of AP experience.

Our Client are based in The City of London and specialise across the Financial Services sector - Banking specifically. They hold a key presence across the market and will be offering an immediate start to the successful applicant.

Description

As Accounts Payable Clerk, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices
• Ensure correct processing of inter-company invoices
• Requesting outstanding invoices from vendors
• Identifying prepayments and processing these correctly
• Reconciling supplier statements with company records
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies with vendors
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Preparing AP reports and ageing analysis
• Processing employee expense claims and ensuring policy compliance
• Assisting with audits by providing necessary documentation

Profile

• Will hold a minimum of three years within Accounts Payable
• Must hold Financial Services sector experience, Banking is admirable
• Will be immediately available to start the temporary contract
• Will be able to travel to the City of London for a minimum of three days per week
