Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable function and support our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced logistics environment, where your influence will be pivotal to ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions and fostering strong relationships with our vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Financial Operations: Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a global accounts payable team, ensuring operational excellence and collaboration across borders.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with vendors, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and fostering trust and effective communication.
  • Reporting & Insights: Produce and deliver insightful financial reports, supporting decision-making and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and drive initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
  • Compliance & Control: Maintain strict adherence to company policies, and conduct regular audits to minimize risks and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, providing updates on operational performance and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in logistics or transportation is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage occasional overtime or weekend work
