Accounts Payable Specialist - Temporary Contract

Our client, a global manufacturer and supplier of flavourings, extracts, and essences, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in High Wycombe. This is a temporary contract position offering a competitive hourly rate of �15-�16.

At our client's organisation, their dedicated team works tirelessly to create impactful taste solutions that drive brand innovation and delight consumers worldwide. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient financial processes and ensuring accurate payments to suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise the automated AP system EXflow for invoice processing and checking.
  • Address email/telephone queries from suppliers and internal colleagues, providing excellent communication and support.
  • Manage certain purchase orders in accordance with AP requirements, including booking items and clearing off unnecessary POs.
  • Review and resolve variances identified by automatic supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Analyse specific nominals at month-end, providing detailed information on invoices posted for use by other finance team members.
  • Prepare payment runs, primarily system-generated but requiring careful review.
  • Process expenses using the SAP Concur system.

In addition to the core responsibilities, there may be opportunities to provide cover for other areas, adding flexibility and variety to your role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience or knowledge of accounts payable or finance.
  • A high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Preferable experience with D365 and even more preferable with EXflow, or any other automated AP system.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and assist in other areas, showcasing your versatility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full ONSITE
