Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing sales ledger reconciliation
  • Conducting bank nominal account reconciliations
  • Assisting with payroll tasks
  • Preparing quarterly VAT reports
  • Managing quarterly accruals and deferrals reporting
  • Implementing effective credit control measures
  • Reporting directly to the directors of the company

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of internal accounting experience, bringing all ledgers up to trial balance stage
  • AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience
  • Proficiency in using accounting software for invoicing and payment applications
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Familiarity with customer intranets/systems for invoicing
  • Knowledge of financial services industry trends and regulations
  • Ability to implement cost control measures effectively
