Our client Is a well respected small accountancy practice seeking an individual to join their friendly team.

The business is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Derby office.

Due to the highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposu re across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicants must have developed a minimum of 2 years experience working within the accountancy profession.

Supporting the senior management team, duties of the Semi Senior Accountant will include the following:

Preparation of Statutory accounts to Manager/Partner review
Client Bookkeeping, dealing directly with clients
Preparation of Personal Tax returns
Preparation of VAT returns
Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
Develop experience in the use of cloud accounting products
