Puro Associates are delighted to be supporting an Accountancy practice in the Lytham St Annes area in their search for a full-time permanent Senior Accountant to join their friendly well-established team of accountancy professionals.
Responsibilities:

\n
• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services.
\n
• Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
\n
• Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
\n
• Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary.
\n
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
\n
• Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• ACCA or ACA qualified ideally
\n
• Will need ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
\n
• Hold strong experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting and Taxation software
\n
• Friendly disposition and a team player
\n
• Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
\n
