Accounts Senior

A great opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to join a highly-reputable accountancy firm based in Maidenhead.

This is a brilliant role, offering the opportunity to work with a range of clients, clear progression, stability and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of client VAT returns.
• Preparation of management accounts and assisting clients with financial reporting.
• Reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff and providing feedback and guidance to help develop their skills.
• Liaising with clients to gather relevant information and ensure all necessary details are included in the preparation of accounts.
• Handling client queries and providing support and advice on a variety of accounting issues.
• Assisting with year-end accounts and corporate tax returns preparation, ensuring all filings are done in compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards.
• Work closely with senior management to meet deadlines and support the wider team in delivering high-quality client service.
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA or studying, or qualified by experience, with solid practice experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
