We are looking for an acoustic consultant to join a reputable organisation that specialises in providing expertise in acoustic regulations and compliance. The company is known for delivering customised solutions for a wide range of complex projects in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They excel in offering tailored acoustic solutions to meet the specific requirements of each project.

The primary responsibilities of the acoustic consultant role include adapting project plans and designs to ensure alignment with client specifications and statutory guidance, conducting regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all project stages, performing routine environmental noise surveys and conducting necessary calculations, as well as providing clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could affect project completion and timelines.

To be considered for the acoustic consultant role, candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or related field, an IOA Diploma accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA, project management experience, proficiency in environmental acoustics and noise surveys, and the ability to manage technical issues during assessments. The successful candidate must also have a full driver's licence and reside in close proximity to the office in Hertfordshire.
