An established environmental consultancy in the United Kingdom is looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join their team. This consultancy specialises in providing engineering and environmental consulting services across a variety of industries. Their focus includes guidance on compliance with British standards and regulations, conducting on-site assessments, and offering remedial advice for project improvements.
The main responsibilities of the Acoustic Consultant will involve delivering expert guidance and solutions to address technical issues that may hinder project completion. The role includes conducting regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure adherence to building regulations and British standards, as well as developing customised project plans and designs tailored to client specifications and statutory requirements.
The Acoustic Consultant package:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold AMIOA/MIOA accreditation and possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related discipline, including an Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma. Strong project management skills and excellent communication abilities are essential. Prior experience with on-site assessments and a proven track record of resolving technical issues are also required, along with a valid driver's licence.
