Administrator - Chandlers Ford

Salary: Up to �27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Our client, a well-established and highly reputable company that works with businesses ranging from privately owned enterprises to large multinational corporations. This role is ideal for a highly organised and efficient individual with confident Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will provide administrative and analytical support to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and processing of customer enquiries and orders.
  • Managing enquiries administration and responding to customer correspondence.
  • Answering phone calls and providing professional customer service.
  • Sourcing and ordering samples via telephone and email.
  • Following up on quotations and placing purchase orders.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance the company's reputation.
  • Overseeing reactive customer orderbook and backlog maintenance.
  • Reviewing customer forecasts and conducting unit price contract reviews.
  • Collaborating with various departments, including Purchasing, Inspection, Warehouse, and Accounts.
  • Providing general office support as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable with a proactive approach.
  • A stable career history.
  • Knowledge of the motor industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, CRM, Email, and Internet
