About the Role:
The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Adults Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Hub. This is a permanent position offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults within our community. You will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and safeguarding the wellbeing of individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of adults' needs and vulnerabilities.
- Developing and implementing person-centred care plans.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals, family members, and carers.
- Safeguarding adults at risk of harm or abuse.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, BA/BSc Social Work).
- Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience working with adults with mental health needs.
- Excellent assessment, planning, and care management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to person-centered care.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within a Local Authority.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
