Adults Mental Health Social Worker

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Adults Mental Health Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing support to adults with mental health issues, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is promoted. This role requires excellent assessment skills, a thorough understanding of mental health issues, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs.

Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans.

Provide support and interventions to individuals experiencing mental health issues, promoting recovery and independence.

Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Advocate for service users to ensure they receive appropriate services and support.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007).

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration.

Experience working with adults in a mental health setting.

Strong understanding of mental health issues and relevant legislation.

Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
