Job Title: Advanced Practitioner - Assessment and Intervention Team
Location: Oldham
Hourly Rate: �40.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our Assessment and Intervention Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective assessment and intervention processes that ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex assessments of children and families, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of intervention plans, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to social workers and team members, supporting them in challenging cases.
  • Undertake direct work with children and families, applying advanced social work methods and techniques.
  • Chair multi-agency meetings and case conferences, facilitating collaborative decision-making and planning.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery through case audits and reflective practice.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in conducting complex assessments and interventions within a social work setting.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
