Location: Covering bases across Derbyshire , including Derby , Chesterfield , and Ilkeston , with 9 other peripheral bases operating at weekends.

What DHU Can Offer You: Work Pattern: Bank Contract, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract, covering evenings, overnight, and weekends (minimum of 2 shifts per month)

What Your Typical Day Looks Like: Deliver autonomous, advanced clinical care for patients from 12 weeks of age and older, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring appropriately
Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations, recognising when to refer to specialists
Communicate confidently and clearly with patients and carers, ensuring understanding and effective decision-making
Work collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team and maintain high-quality clinical records in line with professional guidelines
Prescribe medication within the limits of non-medical prescribing legislation and manage safe discharge or referral to internal or external pathways
To Be a Successful Advanced Practitioner, You'll Need: Professional Registration - Registered with the NMC, HCPC, or GPhC as a Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
Independent Prescriber - Registered as a non-medical prescriber
Education - Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury
Experience - Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
Clinical Skills - Ability to conduct clinical assessments, form diagnoses, and create management plans
