Responsibilities:

• Manage a reduced caseload of cared-for children, ensuring all their complex needs are met.
• Lead visits, assessments, permanency planning, and casework.
• Deliver court statements and assessments.
• Provide reflective group supervision and mentor ASYE social workers.
• Support the Team Manager by addressing performance gaps, motivating the team, and delivering training.
• Work closely with health, education, and other external agencies.

To be considered for the Advanced Practitioner role, ideally you will have:

• Experience: 3-5 years in a similar team setting.
• Qualifications: BSc in Social Work (or equivalent) with Social Work England registration.
• Experience supervising and developing social workers while driving team performance.
