Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical inspections and remedial works on hazardous area electrical equipment
- Comply with permit to work and isolation systems
- Upgrade hazardous area electrical equipment and conduct general maintenance
- Ensure integrity, reliability, availability, and maintainability of electrical and control equipment
- Calibrate instruments within competency, providing documentation of job status
- Maintain a professional relationship with our client and customer representatives
- Complete work orders, time sheets, and project close-out reports accurately
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in hazardous area electrical equipment inspections and maintenance
- Familiarity with BS EN (phone number removed):2014 and related industry standards
- Competency in upgrading and maintaining electrical control systems
- Knowledge of LV electrical equipment switching procedures
- Calibration skills for instruments such as actuators, pressure switches, transmitters
- Commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to accurately complete project documentation and certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
