Aftermarket Services Electrical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Perform electrical inspections and remedial works on hazardous area electrical equipment


• Comply with permit to work and isolation systems


• Upgrade hazardous area electrical equipment and conduct general maintenance


• Ensure integrity, reliability, availability, and maintainability of electrical and control equipment


• Calibrate instruments within competency, providing documentation of job status


• Maintain a professional relationship with our client and customer representatives


• Complete work orders, time sheets, and project close-out reports accurately

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

• Proven experience in hazardous area electrical equipment inspections and maintenance


• Familiarity with BS EN (phone number removed):2014 and related industry standards


• Competency in upgrading and maintaining electrical control systems


• Knowledge of LV electrical equipment switching procedures


• Calibration skills for instruments such as actuators, pressure switches, transmitters


• Commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards


• Ability to accurately complete project documentation and certification


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
