Job Title: Agricultural Mechanic

Location: Bentham - Lancaster

Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £29,000 - £38,000 per annum

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
No weekendsAbout Our Client:

Our client, a well-established independent dealer, is looking for an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join their busy team. With a focus on Unimogs/tractors/HGVs, the work is interesting and varied, ranging from routine maintenance to specialist conversions, performance upgrades, and full restorations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop new skills and refine existing ones while working in a modern, fully equipped workshop.

Perform routine maintenance
Carry out specialist conversions, performance upgrades, and full restorations
Conduct diagnostics and identify necessary repairs and parts
Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship
Adhere to health and safety regulationsEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Experience working with Unimogs/tractors/HGVs
Strong mechanical skills
Ability to work independently and under supervision
Attention to detail in diagnosing issues
Physical fitness and the ability to work with heavy machinery and tools- Advantageous: engineering experience or qualifications, welding/bodywork/fabrication skills
