Agricultural Mechanic

We’re currently undergoing recruitment for an Agricultural Mechanic for our client in the Newtown area.

This is a full time, straight to permanent position.

• 42.5 hours per week


• 08:00 – 17:00


• Monday – Friday (Some additional hours may be available depending on season)


• £32,500 per annum (Negotiable)

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Perform servicing and repairs on fleet vehicles and machinery, including but not limited to ATVs, vans, lorries, plant, and machinery.


• Conduct service, maintenance, and repairs on customers' vehicles to a high standard.


• Assemble and prepare new products as they arrive at the dealership.


• Work towards achieving monthly workshop targets by logging hours on both internal and external machines.


• Maintain an adequate stock of parts and consumables, coordinating with the Dealership Co-ordinator for timely orders.


• Ensure all tasks are documented on daily job sheets, including parts used, and communicate progress with the Dealership Co-ordinator.


• Uphold a safe and clean workshop environment by completing daily close-down procedures.


• Confidently interact with customers during on-site call-outs or when visiting internal locations.


• Be prepared to respond to occasional out-of-hours calls during busy seasons, if necessary.
