THE ROLE Rubiktech Ltd, in partnership with Ulster University, has established a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Project and is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated Software Engineer to work as a KTP Associate to oversee the development of our AI/ML analytics engine for our Data Mule product. KTP PROJECT DESCRIPTION The KTP will focus on developing the AI/ML engineer for our Data Mule product. Data Mule is designed to provide easy access to actionable business intelligence for mid-sized manufacturers. It takes and cleanses data from various data sources into a single golden copy which can be analysed. The KTP will be at the forefront of building the next generation of the product. Data Mule 2 will transform complex data into easy-to-understand insights, aiding decision-making and improving competitiveness. The Associate should have good skills and experience in three or more of the following areas: - Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ - Knowledge of advanced computing topics e.g. Large Language Models, Blockchain, AI, ML, etc. - Proven experience in data analytics and AI projects, preferably with a commercial focus - Knowledge and experience of using research methods (and understanding of qualitative and quantitative research) and/or being involved in research Further information can be found in the Candidate Briefing Document. The appointment will be for a period of two years and although the post is administratively linked to the University, the Associate will be based at the Companys premises in Ormeau Baths, Belfast. Successful completion of the KTP may lead to a new position within the company partner at the end of the project period.
