THE ROLE Rubiktech Ltd, in partnership with Ulster University, has established a 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Project and is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated Software Engineer to work as a KTP Associate to oversee the development of our AI/ML analytics engine for our Data Mule product. KTP PROJECT DESCRIPTION The KTP will focus on developing the AI/ML engineer for our Data Mule product. Data Mule is designed to provide easy access to actionable business intelligence for mid-sized manufacturers. It takes and cleanses data from various data sources into a single golden copy which can be analysed. The KTP will be at the forefront of building the next generation of the product. Data Mule 2 will transform complex data into easy-to-understand insights, aiding decision-making and improving competitiveness. The Associate should have good skills and experience in three or more of the following areas: - Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ - Knowledge of advanced computing topics e.g. Large Language Models, Blockchain, AI, ML, etc. - Proven experience in data analytics and AI projects, preferably with a commercial focus - Knowledge and experience of using research methods (and understanding of qualitative and quantitative research) and/or being involved in research Further information can be found in the Candidate Briefing Document. Successful completion of the KTP may lead to a new position within the company partner at the end of the project period.
