Air Conditioning Engineer

AC Engineer Required

We are currently recruiting for air conditioning engineers for our client based in Rochester.

You will be joining an established team installing VRV systems, heat pumps, plate heat exchangers, splits and all associated tasks in commercial and residential sites.

Candidates must have relevant experience with Daikin, Mitsubishi and Toshiba systems.

You will need experience in a similar role installing Air Conditioning systems.

You must have a F-Gas Qualification and a valid CSCS card.

* Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions

* Where possible provide a first-time fix response.

* Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.

* Undertake system installations and or replacements when necessary.

* Integration to PBS (Projects) when required to assist on validations, installation and testing/commissioning.

* Coordinate and control all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works.

* Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.

* Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response

SKILLS REQUIRED

* A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant

* An individual who has previously worked with VRV's, Cold-rooms, Close Control and Chilled water systems and heat pumps.

* You will be used to working unsupervised

* A high level of interpersonal skills, you will have strong networking skills, building strong stakeholder relationships at a variety of levels with our wide range of clients

* You will be confident in your own ability

* Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a "can do" attitude

* Ideally you will have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits

* Full UK driver's license

* Ability to achieve DBS certification
