My client is a UK wide manufacturer of HVAC equipment, they are well established and a very well known name in the industry. They pride themselves in providing a top quality service and product; this has meant their reputation is always very high among their peers. Air conditioning and air flow is their game and they win that game.
Salary and Benefits of a Health & Safety engineer:
28-30k basic - 40 hours per week
Car (with private use), phone, fuel card
Annual company performance bonus (3% of salary)
24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (this increases over length of service)
Life insurance
They are recruiting for a Health and Safety Engineer, you will be:
Working on the road visiting air conditioning installation sites and checking the Health and safety
Based from their office in North West Birmingham but covering across the Midlands and sites within 2 hours (staying away maybe a couple of nights a year but not very often)
Dealing with the H&S for engineers and subbies
Carrying out H&S inductions for new employees and subbies
Health and safety audits and producing reports
Doing the site RAMS
Working 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Skills / experience needed to be a Health and Safety Engineer:
You need experience working in HVAC site health and safety
You need to have NEBOSH or equivalent as well as your IOSH and SMSTS
Full UK driving licence needed
Living within travelling distance to their office in north west Birmingham when you are needed but living across the west midlands area would be considered
