Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Derby. As an Air Conditioning Engineer at JLL, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional HVAC maintenance and repair services to our prestigious client. Responsibilities:




  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems in commercial properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostic assessments on air conditioning equipment to determine the root cause of issues and implement effective repair solutions.

  • Efficiently respond to reactive maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and disruption to property occupants.

  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and stakeholders to troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Perform routine servicing and inspections of air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and delivering optimal performance.

  • Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately and promptly in the designated systems.

  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in air conditioning and HVAC systems.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, preferably within the commercial real estate sector.

  • Extensive knowledge of various air conditioning and HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF, split systems, chilled water systems, and associated equipment.

  • Recognized technical qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, such as NVQ, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.

  • F-Gas Certification is essential.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures related to air conditioning and HVAC systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

  • A proactive and customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites within the assigned region.
