Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have
experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.
This is a mobile role,
covering Leicester & surrounding areas.
Package:
\n- Competitive salary between £40,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)
\n- Van & fuel card supplied
\n- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
\n- Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
\n- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:
\n- Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers
\n- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment
\n- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
\n- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
\n- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
\n- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment
\n
Qualifications:
\n- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
\n- Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
\n- Full UK driving licence
\n- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
\n- Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment
\n- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
\n- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n- Effective communication and customer service skills
