Air & Fire Damper Engineer - Facilities Management - Glasgow, Scotland - �36,400 DOE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading facilities management companies in the UK, based at one of their prestigious client's sites based in Glasgow, Scotland
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours a week
- Fully Expensed Van
- Working hours between 8am to 11pm
- Glasgow, Scotland
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete servicing work and technical reports/ paperwork as required
- perform analytical surveys of ventilation systems prior to start of work
- Carry out allocated service/remedial repair work
- Ventilation Hygiene Ducting Inspections and Cleans
- Supply and extract ventilation cleaning in accordance with TR/19.
- Testing in accordance with BS:9999 & RRFSO 2005
- manually test the operation of inline fire damper device.
- removal of ceiling tiles and access hatches to simulate the damper operation
- Documenting and recording the damper condition and physical location for the service report.
- Collection of air quality data and samples.
- Completion of air quality reports.
The Ideal Candidate:
- LEV experience beneficial (but not essential)
- Ability and knowledge to use computers/PDA's
- Knowledge of legislative documentation including TR/19, BS:#####.
- Potential to be able to work away from home on a semi regular basis
- Full UK Driving license ( no more than 6 points)
- An understanding of compartmentalisation strategy would be beneficial.
