Air Source Heat Pump Engineer

Example Recruitment Group have an exciting opportunity for an Air Source Heat Pump Engineer with experience of Gas Installs specialising in Air Source/ Gas installation work to come on board on a permanent basis for a leading Housing Association in the South of England. You can expect to mostly cover work in Essex, London, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and various parts of England on occasions but will be provided hotel accommodation when required. 

You will have the opportunity to lead the Renewable Energy sector within Air Source and Ground Source as the workloads increase helping the division to build and grow organically with the business who have recently merged with another organisation making them financially stronger and a more resilient an organisation.   

The Package & Benefits & Incentives: 

Salary: £47,000 per annum plus overtime                                                                 

Weekends: Time and a half 

Work Type: Full Air Source Heat Pump installations/ Combi Swaps and Conversions on Gas installs

Required experience:

• Air Source/ Gas Installations in an efficient and effective manner, making sure that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant policies and legislation whilst maintaining the quality of the work. We want to be the best!


• It's essential that you hold the most up to date ACS (A Credited Certificate), have a broad knowledge and technical understanding of all of policies, practices, and processes, experience in installing Air Source Heat Pumps


• Complete boiler and heating installations to a high standard


• To provide a sufficient handover to the customer to ensure an understanding of the operation


• Ability to undertake gas and plumbing works to a consistently high standard and in a high-pressure environment


• Excellent attention to detail


• Gas Safe Qualified with a minimum of CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 and preferable HTR1, WAT1 and CKR1


• A minimum of 5 years’ experience on full domestic installs and conversions


• Ful UK Driving Licence
