Alternatives Product Specialist

Our client is a leading global investment manager with an impressive track record of helping institutions, intermediaries and individuals meet their long-term financial goals. They are looking for a high potential candidate to join their private markets/ alternatives capability and assist on fundraising and product management initiatives. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.Responsibilities:Assist and lead on deliverables associated with all fundraising activities, including: market research on competitors, target investors, and new markets.Assist on new product launches in partnership with internal stakeholders in product development, operations and legal.Prepare marketing materials related to the infrastructure platform such as creating presentations, flyers, internal documents, DDQs, quarterly investor newsletters and maintaining data rooms.Work alongside the Private Asset Sales teams to support client servicing, account planning, as well as coordinate and attend investor meetingsCoordinate the preparation of RFPs and ad-hoc responses to client and prospect requestsResearch, organise and attend relevant conferences to support core fundraising activitiesCollaborate with the marketing team to improve brand recognition and market presenceRequirements:3-5 years of work experience in investment banking/capital markets, placement agent, investor relations, financial accounting, management consulting or investment consultingA good understanding of, or some exposure to private markets is preferred (private debt, infrastructure, real estate, private equity)Strong attention to detailHighly organised, pursuing a structured approach to deliverables with strong project management skillsHighly developed verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Strong content creation skills (high level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint) and strong technical/numerical skills (high level of proficiency in MS Excel)Strong networking skills and proactive approach to working with colleagues across the business, but equally adept at working autonomouslyHighest ethical standards, integrity and discipline and a clear interest in Sustainability & Impact
