Our client, a global law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new AML Compliance Manager.
Working closely with the MLCO, MLRO and AML Deputy Manager, you'll be managing all aspects of the day-to-day CDD and AML duties, as well as overseeing/supervising the AML/Risk & Compliance team.
As the successful AML Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Supervising and managing the AML/Risk & Compliance team
- Providing strong line management
- Overseeing the workflow and delegation of work to the wider team
- Regularly deliver AML/Risk & Compliance training
- Providing AML and compliance advice to key internal stakeholders on a regular basis
- Chairing AML working groups
- Preparing and reporting on AML developments
- Escalating issues to the MLCO (when necessary)

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:
- Have previous/existing experience of MANAGING an AML/Risk & Compliance team at an international law firm
- Be degree educated (or be UK/overseas qualified)
- Have detailed knowledge of SRA and AML/CTF requirements
- Ideally, have a recognised AML/Compliance qualification
