The RoleAML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation Analyst: Investment Bank – Temporary-to-Permanent Martis Search are representing a City of London based, boutique but global Cash Equity & Fixed Income focused company “sellside” Investment Bank to hire an “AML/ KYC Client Onboarding & Remediation Analyst” on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is working within a small team, based on a trading-floor and supports their London based Equity and Fixed Income Sales and Trading teams. This is a very busy team, with high volume KYC Client Onboarding of Institutional clients such as global Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers etc. The position has arisen through growth and higher-volume of KYC Client Onboarding workloads that are affecting the team. The role also involves KYC Remediation of previous files. Our client is looking for someone with a solid minimum of x 3-year’s AML/ KYC Client Onboarding experience gained from a reputable “sellside” Investment Bank, or Institutional Brokerage, ideally with a stable and less contract focused CV (as the company plan to offer a permanent contract in 2025, so want to see stability from someone’s work history).The company offer a hybrid model of both “working-from-home”, as well as “in-the-office” strategy, i.e. x 3 days in the office and x 2 day working-from-home. The team is very friendly and hard-working. Being part of a small Operations team on a busy Trading floor, means you will need to have very good communication skills, both verbal and written. Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for providing Client On-boarding/ KYC support to the Sales team. The position holder must have /acquire through training, the knowledge to work within the internal guidelines/requirements and present regulatory environment to create and maintain the company’s client base. Key Responsibility Areas (KRA’s): Client Onboarding and reviewCollation of documents to support account openingScreening of clients to ensure adherence to regulatory standards Inputting and uploading of client documentation to database (Goldtier and client file creation) Maintenance and update internal client ‘Master list’.Maintenance and informational update of client files including the recording and destruction as required under GDPR rules Undertaking of annual client file reviews.Ongoing reconciliation between local office records and internal system records to ensure accuracyCreation and maintenance of RCCA accounts and agreements and records.Creation and maintenance of all IB agreements and resulting records.Creation of all accounts under our ‘Asian Securities programme’ and resulting records.Information dissemination by way of Systems as required by Front office, compliance and auditLiaising and working with third party brokers to ensure the required on boarding in ‘Frontier markets’ and the resultant record requirements Ad hoc queries as generated by client base. Creation and presentation of information/ statistics to Monthly Client counterparty meetings GeneralKnowledge of, and adherence to the Company’s Environmental Management Systems and policiesCompetencies/ Skills/ KnowledgeEfficiency, numeracy and accuracyInterpersonal skillsFamiliarity with computer systems Understanding of commercial/ regulatory environmentSalary£250 per day - £300 per day, dependent upon experience, the role will go permanent at circa £60 k pa.
