Location: London Length: 6 Months initialRate: £55 p/h + (Approx. £114k per annum) This client is a top 5 tech giant and owner of some of the world's most popular social media platforms and instant messaging apps, connecting billions of people across the globe.Job description:As an Android Software Engineer, you will specialize in building elegant products on world-class technologies that bring our social experiences to billions of people, anytime and anywhere.We are looking for developers with experience in user interfaces, infrastructure, and/or tools supporting applications on Android using the Android SDK for the organisations Platform (VR)Responsibilities:Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for AndroidImplement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniquesDevelop innovative solutions in Virtual RealityMinimum Qualifications:5+ years of object-oriented software development experienceExperience building Android applications in Kotlin/Java using Android SDKExperience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniquesDemonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projectsExperience with multithreading programming and mobile memory managementPreferred qualifications:Experience with React NativeEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.Apply for an immediate review!
