Rate: £361-£500 per day PAYE via Trust in SODA (Equivalent to £419 - £559 via umbrella)

Summary:

Our client is seeking an Android Developer to join their mobile teams. As an Android Software Engineer, you will specialize in building elegant products on world-class technologies that bring their social experiences to billions of people, anytime and anywhere.

We are looking for developers with experience in user interfaces, infrastructure, and/or tools supporting applications on Android using the Android SDK for VR.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android.
• Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques,
• Develop innovative solutions in Virtual Reality for Meta Quest

Skills:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience
• Ideally 5 years' experience in object-oriented software development experience
• Experience building Android applications in Kotlin/Java using Android SDK
• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects.
• Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.

Bonus:

• Experience with React Native
• Development experience on the Meta Quest Platform
