A specialist Fintech SME that provides advanced data to Capital Markets is in search of a Technical Support Engineer to join their order team. Role: Technical Support Engineer Salary: £60k DOE with shares, remote/flexible working, Healthcare Industry: Fintech Working Pattern: Hybrid Remote (London) You d be joining a small but efficient Op s team to monitor these production applications and to make sure our daily batch jobs. You ll use your knowledge of these data pipelines to troubleshoot potential production issues and escalate to relevant teams internally/externally. The company is a Market leader in Data Analytics, providing Financial services for the Capital Markets. They recently secured a seven-figure Series B investment, and have won awards for being Lead Data Provider. The role is hybrid remote, with 2 days per week in the London office. An ideal candidate will need to have experience in Python/Bash scripting, Linux, AWS, and SQL, with experience dealing with mission-critical tasks. Responsibilities Monitor and make sure daily batch jobs are completed promptly Manage production incidents and escalate issues to the appropriate Dev teams Lead on customer issues including diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying solutions and resolutions Build reports and monitoring dashboards Produce tech notes and articles Occasional weekend work will be required with this role With recent success/investment, the company is scaling across multiple departments, and this is a great opportunity to join a respected Fintech as they enter the growth phase. You ll be looking to grow their financial and technical support skills with internal growth forming an important part of the company s culture. A Finance/Fintech background would be an advantage but is not essential. Tech: Demonstrable experience in a similar Application support position Experience dealing with production-critical batch systems AWS Python or Shell/BASH Experience with incident management processes Linux/Unix SQL Database systems Splunk Benefits: What's in it for you?
