Application Support Analyst – Application Commissioning, Application Decommissioning, Application Configuration, Permanent, London - £80,000A global Specialty Insurance business is hiring for an Application Specialist to join their newly restructured IT department to manage their estate of Commercial Off the Shelf applications and products which sit across all areas of the business. Reporting into their Head of Applications, you’ll have a special relationship with the deskside support team and the application vendors.Within this role, you will own the estate of circa 100 commercially available applications that the business use to operate its business, ensuring that they are well managed and supported by the relevant vendors.Key AccountabilitiesProduct specific supportLead the commissioning of new applications and subsequent configuration activities.Lead the decommissioning of retired applications not part of the new and improved estate.Monitor and report on Vendor KPI’s and performance.Ensure that the application patching and upgrades are completed in accordance with the relevant policies.Key RequirementsPrior experience in managing a large portfolio of applications.A solid ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external teams.Experience in managing third party service providers.Experience in disaster recovery and application development.A prior experience of working in a cloud first environment with a preference to Azure.This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly respected Insurance business operating out of the London Market
