Application Support Engineer – DV Cleared - £550.00 per day Outside IR35 – OnsiteDay Rate: Up to £550.00 per day (Outside IR35)Duration: 6 Months (Long term project, extensions very likely)Office Location: London & Cheltenham (5 days per week at either office is required)*****Clearances: MUST HAVE Active DV Clearance*****A security and defence tech consultancy is looking for a DV Cleared Application Support Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 6 months.You will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.The team uses site reliability engineering tools and practices to continuously verify and enhance the service.Key Skills & Experience:Experience working in a managed service environment with a strong focus on service delivery and customer outcomesApplication development using Java or similarGit version controlCritical thinker with the ability to analyse problems, test hypotheses, and make informed risk decisionsAbility to quickly prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities during incident response scenariosIt would be a bonus if you had any experience in application deployment and administration using micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, terraform/ansible, or Oracle.If you want to learn more about this Application Engineer opportunity, please apply with the latest version of your CV for review.
