We are working with a globally recognised manufacturing business who are looking to add a Applications Engineer to join their talented and longstanding team.

This business has established a reputation for excellence in machinery, and prioritises sustainability and innovation in-house and amongst their suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, installation, and commissioning of company machines
• Create and modify PLC synchronised motion applications
• Install and configure Linux IPCs in machines
• Write software programs for safety PLCs / HMI software
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Visiting Customer premises as and when required to update / fault find / commission / install / repair machinery

Key Criteria

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience working to UK manufacturing standards
• Flexibility to visit Customer premises in the UK / stay away if required (approx. 10% off-site)
• Full UK driving license
• Full Right to Work in the UK
