Applications Engineer Job Co Tyrone Cookstown Salary £42,000 - £50,000 This leader in the design and manufacture of innovative materials processing and wash plant equipment for the construction and aggregate industries is seeking to hire an experienced Applications Engineer to join its team. With a robust order book extending through the end of 2026, the company continues to experience significant growth and has plans to expand the team in the coming months to support this ongoing development. The Applications Engineer will collaborate closely with the companys renowned Design Engineering and Sales teams to identify and develop opportunities within the Product Range. Reporting to the Engineering Manager/Product General Manager, the role involves liaising with key customers to establish their technical requirements and providing expertise in bulk materials handling and washing systems design. What you will need The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline and will possess the following skills and experience: Strong technical knowledge of crushing, screening, washing systems, conveyors, or material handling. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and literature. Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. Understanding of FMEA, as well as electrical and hydraulic engineering. Strong project management and people management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and possessing strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Strong organisational skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as required. Why Join the Team?
