Location: Salisbury Wiltshire, SP4 0JQ
Salary: Up to £18k, DOE + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Core hours are Monday - Friday 8-430

The Surelock McGill Group is a world leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing a range of high security locks, doors, walling and armoury solutions to protect the nation from threats. As a 3rd generation family business for over 60 years, we have a busy team and are looking to take on a new apprentice in our Amesbury Locks Division based in Wiltshire.

Apprentice Locksmith Engineer - The Role:
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship, you will be working alongside our experienced engineers, to learn and obtain experience in the field of specialist locks, door hardware and associated security products. You will be taught engineering skills which will be prime for becoming a permanent and dedicated locksmith engineer at one of our many specialist high security sites.
Responsibilities and Task's will include:
Installation, maintenance & repair of security doors, locks, and associated security products
Front line problem solving
Specify correct product specifications
Fire inspection on high-performance rated doors.
Attending and participating in project meetings
Apprentice Locksmith Engineer - Skills/Qualifications:
Enjoy working with your hands and the feeling of satisfaction with results, this may include hobbies, work
experience, or engineering related school subjects
Strong desire to learn and develop, be proactive and use initiative
A positive work ethic, team player with a can-do attitude and approach
Aim to deliver to the highest standard of performance
Support others, with a natural curiosity to get involved
