New Architect job available, are you an ambitious Architect or experienced Part 2 ready to take the lead on large-scale residential master planning and planning application projects

Located in the city centre, this practice has steadily grown, partnering with some of the biggest names in UK residential development. Their portfolio spans from bespoke one-off homes to expansive large-scale housing projects.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Architect to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in UK residential projects, offering clear pathways for career growth.
Role & Responsibilities
Create feasibility layouts for projects ranging from 10 to 1,000 homes (training available if needed)
Develop site layouts, parameter plans, concept plans, and constraints plans
Prepare house type packs, Design & Access Statements (DAS), and other application documents
Manage Reserved Matters and Detailed applications
Conduct site visits and appraisals to inform project development
Provide regular progress reports to line managers
Mentor and support junior staff to foster team growth.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven track record in delivering planning applications for UK national housebuilders, housing associations, or similar clients
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Demonstrable commercial awareness
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign (experience with SketchUp and Revit is a very beneficial)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
