Architect Job in Canterbury, Kent

We have a new opportunity with an AJ100 who has an Architect Job available. This role would suit a Recently Qualified Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant keen to focus on the design stages of UK based projects under the guidance of the project lead.

This AJ100 has over 300 employees and 12 studios across the UK, they are currently expanding its urban design and master planning department, projects include new build developments and urban regeneration projects across the UK. Due to this they are now seeking a Revit skilled Architect or Part II Architectural Assistant to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with an associate director to develop designs from initial concepts through to planning applications.
  • Producing high-quality drawings, sketches, and documents to support the design process
  • Creating visualizations that effectively communicate design intent
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of Planning Applications
  • Collaborating with the wider team to refine and develop project designs
  • Ensuring all work aligns with project requirements and industry standards
  • Using Revit on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in stages 1-3 on Uk projects is essential
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Experience with 3D modelling software such as Rhino or SketchUp, and visualization tools like Enscape (desirable)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
