Architectural Technologist

We are currently on the lookout for an Architectural Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary award-winning Architectural Practice based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to develop their career within an ambitious team. Our client primarily work on Retail projects, working across all RIBA stages up to the value of around �5m. The successful Architectural Technologist will be working on both Revit and AutoCAD so proficiency with at least one of the software is required.

Architectural Technologist Position Overview

• Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures
• Work on exciting Retail projects across all RIBA stages
• Produce detailed technical construction information on the project
• Prepare and develop drawings, models and images, and other documents related to design
• Report to the directors on the progress of projects
• Prepare and present design proposals using AutoCAD/Revit and other design software, as well as traditional drawing methods
• Liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval

Architectural Technologist Position Requirements

• Living within commutable distance of Nottingham
• Excellent Revit or AutoCAD knowledge
• Experience in the Retail sector
• Working knowledge of Building Regulations and the Planning Permission Process
• Well Rounded Experience & Knowledge within the Architectural & Construction Industry
• Minimum of 2 year's professional working experience in a UK practice
