Area Cleaning Manager (FTC)

If so, you should apply for our position of Area Cleaning Manager (Maternity Cover) for our contracts in West Sussex:
40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday.
Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave (January to September 2025)
£30,900 per annum plus a company van.
The area: 4 further education colleges in West Sussex as well as an office space.
The team: each site has a Site Supervisor and there are about 40 cleaners in your area.
As one of our Area Cleaning Managers on our contracts in West Sussex, you will make sure the cleaning operations run smoothly and to budget. You will be responsible for looking after your team of cleaners on the different sites. Depending on the set up of each site there will be a team of around 5 to 15 cleaning colleagues.
Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the skills and tools they need to thrive in their job to provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for the building users. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering the stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to make sure everyone is paid correctly every month.
You will be working closely with one other Area Cleaning Manager and two Site Managers for the contract and report into the Service Manager for the area.
Please note: This position is a Fixed Term Contract initially for 9 months to cover Maternity Leave from January to September 2025.
