We are seeking an Area Manager to maintain, manage and growing the customer portfolio in the South and South West England. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, possess leadership skills, and have a keen interest in business development.

Description

The role of Area Manager will involve:

• Developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Covering an area across South and South West England.
• Demonstrating products, service and aftercare to clients.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance and market trends.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve sales processes.
• Participating in regular sales meetings and industry events.

Profile

A successful Area Manager should have:

• A proven track record in business development.
• Experience in the rental market of plant equipment.
• A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and market.
• Negotiation skills at all levels, good presentation skills and influencing techniques.
• Proven ability to build relationships and win new business.
