Our client is a leading multi-utility company, continuing its successful expansion and delivering high-quality utility services across the region. We are seeking an Area Manager to join their Yorkshire team and drive operational excellence.
Role Overview
The Area Manager will report directly to the Northeast & Yorkshire Regional Manager, leading operational construction activities within Yorkshire. The role ensures efficient project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers delivering multi-utility projects.
- Oversee stores and stock levels, ensuring smooth material delivery.
- Manage pre-construction activities, working with design and estimating teams.
- Liaise with developer contract managers and technical engineers.
- Develop and implement construction plans for timely utility installations.
- Drive productivity and commercial performance through strategic planning.
- Ensure SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) compliance.
- Conduct audits and oversee compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to deliver cost-effective solutions.
- Support quarterly forecasting and business planning.

- Strong knowledge of multi-utility processes and procedures.
- Experience managing operational teams in construction or utilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- A full UK driving license.
