Position Summary:
As an Area Officer in Grounds Maintenance, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects across multiple sites. This is a varied and rewarding position, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Liaison: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Quoting & Planning Work : Preparing quotes, scheduling jobs, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Ordering Materials & Equipment: Managing the procurement of necessary materials, tools, and hire machinery.
Accommodation & Logistics : Booking accommodation for teams when required.
Compliance & Safety: Compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe working practices.
Admin & Reporting: Checking timesheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, and maintaining records.
Use of IT Systems: Working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage schedules, reports, and communication.
What We're Looking For:
Full UK driving license (Essential)
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Reliable and able to work independently.
Proficiency in Excel and Outlook (or similar systems).
Good communication skills and a friendly approach.
Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field (preferred but not essential).
