Area Repairs Manager
Salary:������ �59,000
Location: � Hybrid (with one day a week in the office)
The role
Reporting to the�Property Director, you will be required to effectively oversee contracts for responsive repairs and void works, ensuring that services delivered are customer focussed and delivered to agreed budgets.
- Effectively manage and develop the team, ensuring that services are delivered in a customer focussed way including engaging with customers about our services.
- Ensure responsive repair contracts are meeting contractual KPIs and poor performance is challenged and addressed.
- Develop and set the regional responsive repairs and voids budgets and deliver the service within agreed budgets.
- Plan and oversee procurement of long-term contracts, instructing external expertise as required.
- Write and review policies and procedures for planned, responsive and void management services.
- Effectively manage void properties to ensure repair works are planned and undertaken swiftly and the properties are re-let.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent people management skills with proven experience of managing a team.
- Experience of overseeing contracts in a repairs or planned maintenance environment.
- Experience in surveying and diagnosing complex building defects.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to analyse data and communicate findings.
- Knowledge and experience of the social housing sector specifically property services.
