The role of the Area Sales Manager – Hardwood Timber Products will involve:Field sales position selling a range of hardwood timber products Majority of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via furniture / cabinets manufacturers, joiners, shop fitters, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, builders, timber merchants, door manufacturers & end usersMay have a small element of generating specification with architectsInheriting an area turning over £300k per month (may spilt this depending on what accounts are passed over)200+ accounts on areaGreat internal sales supportThe ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Hardwood Timber Products with:Must have field sales experience in the hardwood timber sectorMust have sold to a mixed route to market via furniture / cabinets manufacturers, joiners, shop fitters, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, builders, timber merchants, door manufacturers etcAbility to build and maintain relationships Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and companyExcellent communication skills with ability to convey technically information Computer literate
