Job Description
Area Sales Manager - Exciting Growth Opportunity
They are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across the East Midlands, with a focus on both growing existing business and identifying new sales opportunities. If you have a passion for technical sales, a strong strategic mindset, and a proven track record in territory management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and profitability targets within the defined territory
  • Develop and manage customer relationships to foster business growth
  • Identify new sales opportunities, focusing on distribution channels and account acquisition
  • Work closely with internal teams to maximize business potential
  • Participate in sales meetings to present strategies and plans for territory development
  • Spend 90% of time in the field meeting with customers and developing new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with distributors and support their sales efforts
  • Provide regular reports and market feedback


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in territory sales management within technical sales
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage time effectively, plan journeys, and use CRM systems for efficient territory management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure
  • Ability to travel and, when necessary, stay overnight within the sales territory
